If an 'apple a day keeps the doctor away' then by adding some fresh mint, a bit of banana, a handful of spinach and some coconut water, the chances are he'll never come knocking again! It not only wins many prizes on the health front, but it tastes ridiculously good too. Coconut water and banana are a natural match made in heaven, but the mint and you take it to another level. Rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and good natural carbs, this incredibly super fast to make superfood breakfast will provide you with enough energy to see you through till lunch.

INGREDIENTS

  • Apple: 1
  • Mint: 10g
  • Banana: 1/2
  • Spinach: 1 Handful
  • Coconut Water: 200ml
  • Ice: 1 Small Handful

HOW TO MAKE

Remove the core from the apple and chop into small pieces. Remove the leaves from the mint and discard the stems. Peel the banana. Put everything into the blender or ‘Retro Super Blend’ and whizz for 30 – 60 seconds.
