- 5-6 Carrots
- 1 Onion
- ½ Clove of Garlic
- ¼ Teaspoon of Cumin Powder
- 1 Pint of Vegetable Stock
- 50ml Coconut Milk (fresh from a carton not a tin)
- Salt & Pepper to taste
How To Make
Make the vegetable stock and allow to cool.
Top & tail the carrots and chop into chunks.
Peel the onion and chop into chunks.
Peel the garlic glove and cut in half.
Pre-cook the carrots, onions and garlic. We would recommend steaming/boiling the carrots and lightly cooking the onion and garlic in a pan on the hob with a little oil. Allow to cool before adding to the jug of your Juice Master Super Blend.
Then add in any seasoning, herbs and spices.
Finally, pour in enough stock to cover approximately half of the ingredients you’ve just added.
Secure the lid onto the jug and place the blender jug onto the blender base.
Press the stop/start button on the touch control panel once, to illuminate all the icons.
Select the soup preset program, which is represented by a soup bowl icon. This is an 8- minute program and it will start automatically once pressed. The digital timer on the touch control panel will count down, allowing you to see the amount of time remaining.
When the program has finished the blender will stop automatically. Only once the blades have come to a complete stop, should you remove the jug from the base and take off the lid. IMPORTANT: When removing the lid, please be careful of any escaping hot steam.
Pour the soup into a bowl and enjoy! Alternatively, allow to cool, pour into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 48hrs, or in the freezer for up to 4 months.
