Just bought the 7lb in 7 days book and it looks fab. Can you please clarify something for me i have also been lucky enough to to buy a vita mix machine which we love. Can I use this instead of the juicer? Do I just put everything into it? I am desperate to start the new regime. Thanks Karan

JUICE MASTER REPLY: You do need a juicer and blender if making the smoothies and juices. Some ingredients like the avocado and banana do not juice and so have to be blended. And the supplements are better blended too to get an even balance of nutrients your body needs. (Posted on 11/02/2009)

7lbs in 7 Days is a fantastic book because the mental preparation really has made me appreciate that I am lucky to be privileged enough to be able to go and buy fruit & veg and make them in to wonderful juices and smoothies. We really are very lucky if we can have this as a choice, and makes me realise that it is a choice and not a chore for us. I believe an attitude of gratitude is a positive way to feel everyday as we can be so spoiled-natured in this country. Thanks for a great read, I have ordered my pack and more books. I have just started using the Breville commercial juicer and adore it. However, how long can I realistically keep some of the lovely juices I am creating? Will they travel to work and keep for the day in the fridge? Can I make them the night before? Or what about freezing? I read something that suggested you need to consume any juice from a centrifugal juicer "immediately" but what is the lowdown on how quickly nutrients might be lost? Thanks for your advice.

Dear Juicy Team, I am juicing everyday and also having soup every day. This is amazing as I am really not a soup person but I love love love your recipes and so do the children. It is a fabulous way to get them eating well, I can hide so many veggies in a soup! My husband has been a bit poorly recently with bowel problems and pear juice is doing wonders for him! Dear Juice Master Team, I write you after my Honeymoon. I'd like to thank you and Jason Vale to give me the chance to turn from an Italian size 48 to size 44 and to lose weight from 72 to 64 kgs... in just one month! I was desperate one month before the wedding: I had gained weight because of the marriage-stress (unfortunately I'm one of those people who tend to eat crap with stress! ) and the zipper of the beautiful wedding gown didn't close: I looked out like a "sausage" in the dress! But thanks to "Juice yourself slim" I did it! I have tried all the diets of the world but none did work for a long time because of the lack of psychological/mental support. Jason & the team, Firstly Kevin you are not alone!! Well I have just completed juice yourself slim and I lost another 7lbs in the week. It was great to mix the juicing with salads and soups which were great. I think what has been great over the year I have taken juicing seriously is that I have obviously lost weight (1st 8lb) and can wear all my old clothes again, but my understanding of food both good and bad is now very clear something no one has ever managed to make clear before.

I am so much more confident that I have given up smoking (6 weeks) and that I am running a half marathon in October all this is because of juicing. It sounds rather corny(?) but it really is a life changer and I feel great. Thanks guys and keep up the good work I will do my best to spread the word. By the way anyone who is thinking of giving up smoking and is worried about those after dinner cravings juicing is the answer I had very little.

I have purchased your book `Juice Yourself Slim`. It would be very encouraging if you were to include the Wall Planner with the purchase of the book. It is very frustrating to have to hunt it down. It would even help with the programme, if one could download it. I am looking forward to starting the Launch as soon as I have finished reading the book, which should be tomorrow and then start on Monday. Having borrowed a copy of your Keeping It Simple book from a friend and following the 3 day detox, I could not believe how good and un-hungry I felt!
