Juicy Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of blueberries
- 3 tablespoons of bio-live yogurt (Yeo Valley do a great one, which is genuinely 98 per cent fat-free with no added sugars)
- Squeeze of manuka honey
- Ice
- 2 Apples
Juicy Instructions
- Place the blueberries, yogurt, honey and ice in a blender
- Juice the apples then add this juice to the blender
- Blend until smooth
Why this is good for you
Blueberries are an excellent source of antioxidants, folic acid, ellagic acid, betacarotene and vitamins B and C. All these are wonderful for preventing free-radical damage and enhancing the skins radiance.
Bio-live yogurt contains 'live' cultures which help furnish the gut with friendly bacteria to aid digestion. This smoothie is therefore great for the internal system as well as the external appearance. It's so scrummy it even makes an appearance as a 'special guest' in our Juice 'n' Smoothie Bars!
