- 2 firm pears
- 1/4 large pineapple
- 1 cm cube of ginger
- Ice
Juicy Instructions
- Juice the pears, pineapple and ginger by packing the ginger between the other produce.
- Pour over ice and enjoy
Why this is good for you
Pear juice is lovely and thick and naturally sweet, so this juice will fill you up whilst satisfying your sweet taste buds. Pears also contain pectin, a soluble fibre the can help the body flush out toxins.
This juice provides a good source of vitamin C and copper, which both help protect cells from free-radical damage. Vitamin C is critical for good immune function and stimulates white cells to fight infection, directly killing many bacteria and viruses.
