How and why did you get Ewan juicing?
A friend at work (who looks absolutely fabulous from following the juice master programme) slowly over a number of months introduced me to juicing. I was very hesitant to taste them at first but after seeing how great she looked and how much energy she had I decided to give it a go and Ewan just came along for the ride. Ewan LOVES to help out in the kitchen and likes juice but can sometimes shun some veggies so what better way to get him involved in having his veggies.
What's Ewan's favourite juice?
Ewans favourite juice is:
2 x apple 2 x pear 1 x parsnip 1 x celery 1 x carrot all whizzed up with ice. We also put juice into lollipop trays to have as a dessert in the evenings.
What would you say to Mum's struggling to get their kids juicing?
Firstly let them have a go themselves (of course under close supervision). Make it fun and keep it sweet. Never say no to them trying out or putting in any veg. Let the kids pick out the fruit and veg when you are shopping (Ewan loves doing this for jwoocing). We had Ewan's cousins to stay over the weekend and pretended we were in a shop making smoothies and juice. Keep it fun!!
Have you seen any improvements since he's been juicing?
He has always been full of energy and on the go but I have found that he is eating alot less "snacky" food. Ewan also suffered mildly with patches of dry skin on his face and in his hair but since he has been drinking his juices this has almost if not all gone!!
