Pears have less sugar than other fruits. They contain levulose, a fruit sugar more easily tolerated by people with diabetes. Pears make a delicious 'full bodied' juice and blends particularly well with apple. They contain a soluble fibre called pectin, making them good for healthy bowels and digestion. They help to improve kidney function so are a great addition to any detox program.

Juice. Just remove the stalks.
