Who are The Happy Pear?
The Happy Pear, is a natural food market committed to selling local, organic and seasonal produce. They also have a wide selection of organic and non-organic fruits and veg and have one of the most well known juice bars in the world.
How was it started?
Started by twins Steve and Dave Flynn, The Happy Pear is a fun and lively place where they have a mission far beyond just being a shop. "Every day we strive to give better service, to be more accepting, to help build more community and togetherness, to bring more awareness in ourselves and anyone open to it."
Why we Love the Happy Pear
It's rare that you find a juice bar so in tune with customers and the local growers of the fruit and veg that they juice. It is very strange to say, but the place exudes 'happiness' - everyone smiles, customers, staff; it's a great place to go and grab a juice.
They have a selection of great healthy food for customers to enjoy upstairs as you sit by the cosy fire or to take out the front to sit and watch the world of Greystones main street go by. Every day they make fresh in our kichen – 2 soups, 2 main courses, 7 salads and pita breads.
